The model is built with you, not handed to you. That is deliberate: a founder who helped build the model can defend every number in it, and a founder who was emailed a spreadsheet cannot.

Calls are usually held within a few working days of the enquiry.

Regulated financial advice. A call gives you an experienced professional's analysis and options; decisions, and their validation with your own advisor, stay with you.

The tailored engagement starts from your actual problem: you describe it, a discovery call scopes it, and the Studio proposes one fixed-scope, fixed-price piece of work built around that need. If the Studio is not the right tool for it, you will be told that on the call, plainly.

The founder
Jaime Mangueira
Founder, Mango Finance Studio
Born in South Africa and raised between Angola and the Emirates, Jaime trained in finance in the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and built his career across Geneva, European banking and Lisbon. That path, four countries of schooling and three of work, is why the Studio works the way it does: numbers first, presented so that people from very different rooms can follow them.
In Geneva he worked as a financial analyst and junior portfolio manager, helping raise CHF 700K in seed debt and managing a portfolio of equities. In European banking he brought more than €20M under custody for over fifty investor clients. In Lisbon he now advises more than ninety international investors, with over €45M placed into Portuguese funds.
The Studio is where that experience is put to work for founders and smaller businesses: the same standard of deck and model that institutional rooms expect, at a scale and price that fit an early raise.
He works in Portuguese, French and English natively, and Spanish fluently, with clients from more than forty-five nationalities. Certified in AML and CTF prevention (IFB).

Refund policy
How deposits, cancellations and refunds work at the Studio, stated plainly before you commit to anything.
How payment works
Fixed fee engagements (pitch decks, financial models and tailored work) start once a 50% deposit has cleared. The balance is due on delivery. Work does not begin before the deposit, and no stage is billed before it is complete.
Cancelling before work begins
If you cancel before work has started, everything you have paid is refunded in full, within 10 working days. No reason needed.
Cancelling after work has started
You pay only for the stage your project has reached:
After kickoff, before the first draft is delivered: 50% of the fee is refunded.
After the first draft, while revisions are still open: 25% of the fee is refunded.
After final delivery: no refund, because the work is complete and yours to keep, including the editable files.
Accuracy guarantee
Every financial model passes an independent second review before delivery. If a delivered model still contains a material calculation error, tell us within 30 days and it is corrected free of charge. If it cannot be corrected, the fee for that deliverable is refunded in full.
What is not refundable
No refunds for a change of mind after final delivery, for subjective preference once your two included revision rounds have been used, or where a project stalls because the inputs we asked for were not provided: after 30 days without inputs the engagement closes and the fees for completed stages stand.
Consulting calls
Cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the call, as many times as you need within that window. A call that is missed without notice counts as delivered.
If we cancel
If Mango Finance Studio cancels an engagement, or cannot deliver a stage, everything paid for undelivered stages is refunded in full.
How to request a refund
Email us with your project code. We confirm the stage reached and the amount within 5 working days, and refunds go back to the original payment method. Nothing in this policy limits any statutory rights you may have.
Mango Finance Studio Assistant
An automated assistant with pre-written answers. It is not a person, and there is no live chat. Anything it cannot answer becomes a ticket or a call request to Jaime.
